Yes! I have a lovely office in the Beverly Grove area of LA near the Original Farmer’s Market.
Online, I see clients from across California using the HIPAA-compliant platform Zoom for Healthcare.

I am not paneled with any insurance companies. However, many PPO plans provide out-of-network benefits and reimburse a percentage of your fees after you meet your deductible.
I am happy to provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement. The best way to find out how much you would be reimbursed is to contact your PPO plan.

I accept credit cards and HSA/FSA cards online.

In general, weekly sessions are 55-60 minutes.
To jump-start the healing process, you may prefer a therapy intensive, which is an extended session of 3 hours.
-
I usually see clients weekly, especially for the first 3 months. Progress occurs most quickly and substantively with consistent weekly sessions.
In general, biweekly sessions are reserved for those who have already made significant progress in treatment and wish to step down to biweekly sessions prior to termination.
-
Your appointment times are reserved for you and difficult to fill at the last minute. Please note that for weekly clients, the first no-show or late cancellation provided less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a partial fee of $100, with full fees charged on no-shows and late cancellations thereafter.
Please note that I cannot hold your weekly slot for you if there is a pattern of non-attendance.
For intensives, cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will require that the full fee is paid in advance in order to reschedule.

I work with adult individuals 18+. I do not provide couples therapy or services for children/teens.

Some public-facing clients prefer heightened privacy when engaging in therapy.
Telehealth from the privacy of your home is always available.
For intensive 3-hour sessions, however, in-person meetings are highly recommended:
Off-hour weekend intensives can be arranged at my office to maximize privacy.
For clients requiring total privacy, in-home visits are available.
For the options above, availability is limited. Please contact me for rates and additional information.
-
1) One option is to schedule a series of intensive 3-hour sessions rather than meeting weekly.
2) I also maintain an “as-available” list for clients who travel frequently or have unpredictable work schedules:
These clients let me know when they are in town and wish to meet.
Once someone cancels their regularly scheduled appointment, I offer this time to clients who wish to meet “as available.”
While this is great for some clients who need this amount of flexibility, the downside is that openings may not be immediately available when requested.
Please contact me for more information about this option and to check whether there are openings on this limited list.

At the first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. What we do in sessions after that depends on your goals. We will talk, do experiential exercises, and may integrate EMDR, Brainspotting, Flash Technique, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and/or hypnotherapy.
We may also use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to get to know your parts, like your inner critic, your taskmaster, your wild child, or your people-pleaser. This can be a very effective way to resolve internal conflicts, heal childhood trauma, and understand the behaviors that undermine your conscious goals.
We will explore to find the modalities that work best for you. For many clients, an integrated approach, such as using EMDR and IFS together, is incredibly effective.

How long therapy takes depends on the unique circumstances and needs of each individual. Several factors, such as the difficulties you’re facing, your goals, whether weekly attendance is consistent, and other considerations can affect the length of therapy.
My goal as a therapist is to help you meet your goals as quickly as possible.
Most clients attend therapy weekly for at least 3 months. Some stay in therapy for a year or more.
To see progress quickly, read more about how to get the most out of every session and how to track change.
If you are feeling motivated and seeking to accelerate the healing process, you may also want to consider therapy intensives, which are 3-hour blocks of work dedicated to resolving stuck patterns. Intensives take place in my Los Angeles office and are tailored to your specific and unique needs.

Per the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

You can schedule a free 20-minute consultation on my calendar. You can also send me an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant message. If it feels like we’re a good fit, we can schedule our first session and off we go!
